"I really like this product, the coverage and feel are fantastic, if only they could find a way to get rid of all the messy excess powder. I find that it gets all over my bathroom countertop, it does not wipe up easily, and somehow I feel for the price of the stuff I should not have to be wiping it off the counter or into the trash after every use. Fix the delevery system and I'll buy more. Not happy overall, the mess makes me opt out for my old liquid foundation 9 times out of 10."

"The first time I used this product, I slathered it on like regular face powder -- big mistake! I wound up looking cakey. You've got to use VERY LITTLE and follow the directions -- swirl, tap and buff! For best results, be sure your face is dry before applying -- the effect is luminous and folks will think you just have good skin. It feels like wearing nothing, doesn't dry the skin, and lasts all day."

"I started Bare Escentuals Mineral skin care & mamke up Christmas day 2005. I felt great & feel younger. It covers well, even & NO lines. I had a dinner party New Years eve 2005 and 6 women all wanted to see my skin care, 5 of them even took off all theie own make up and had me demonstrate the minerals on them, they loved all the results, one of my friends has roseca very bad, and she couldn't believe how well after only one application of light foundation covered her condition very well. She has tried numerous make up and has had no success. She now will use Bare escentuals and nothing else! How wonderful, I felt like I was a consultant for Bare escentuals! It felt even better helping out someone else than my very skin care. The results are great. Thank you Bare Escentuals, Leslie!

"I'm 40's, African American, have pretty smooth skin, but some uneveness of coloration. I have used Fashion Fair, Dermablend, Revlon Colorstay and many others of various price ranges. The BE is my favorite makeup for everyday use, and the best deal for the money. It took a couple of orders to get the best color for my skin tone (4.35) and I find it best to use two or 3 different colors together. I get compliments on my skin everyday, and not "I like your makeup" but "you have the most beautiful skin!". I am now a permenant customer of this product, but wish it was sold in more stores, and not just "exclusive" salons and on tv."

"I love their products. This is a great "powder". All bare mineral foundations, blushes, eyeshadows, ect. are in powder for but you'd never know it. This product acts as the powder you put on over the foundation. I have pretty oily skin so I put this on first before the foundation and then after. I've heard many people say that this is a must out of all their products. You can use it with other products as well! It may not look like a lot but it really is. These products last for a very long time as you dont need much! I think this is a must for everyone who wears makeup! Also its completely sheer so its not like those other powders that you put on that can be too dark giving you that line or too light making you look like a ghost!"

"I have been a fan of Bare Escentials since 2001 when they 1st started airing the infomercial. I had gone thru a car windshield in 1983 and had little scars and broken capalaries on my cheeks. This make-up makes my face look flawless. It also covers the natural age signs in my 44 year old face. It will not cause breakouts and it feels like you're not even wearing make-up. I will NEVER use any other product !!!"

"The product never cakes. But you must blend well, especially on edges of face so that you don't get the boundary marks. Works well for light-skinned Asian women, but does have that European "white"-ish look to it, maybe it's the mica. Nonetheless, the "white"ish look and "warmth" 28even when a bit overused29 are all very well evened out to near perfection with the finishing use of "mineral veil." brushes are great quality, warmth is a nice color 28use only rice-sized first, then build29. does not stop oily look on oily skin 28except in cold weathers, where it's perfect29, and dries out in distasteful manner with use of oil blotting paper, so must use caution 28don't overblot29 Overall, very satisfied, but I'm giving satisfied because of the quality in relation to price. I wonder how it compares to the other mineral product, which is significantly less expensive, but without some of the B.E. goodies.."

"I have tried this mineral foundation,and compared to othe mineral foundations, it leaves my skin with a much shinier look, and for an oily skin, that is not good. I also had a slight itching afterwards. I will say that the brushes are superior, but that is about it."
