Buyer Beware - Excessive Cost |
"First of all, I ordered Nutra Renew from the infomercial. The actual cost is $99.00, although you can try it for 30 days for $29.99 plus $9.95 shipping 28non-refundable29. Definately NOT worth the excessive cost!! I have tried it, and sent it back. I have naturally curly hair, and use a CHI iron everyday. The Nutra Renew made my hair soft, but not by any means did it have the dramatic transformations as it does on tv. And believe me, I tried to get it to look real good, using the CHI and blowdrying it straight. So, I called to return it, and on the infomercial they state you can keep the second set as a free gift. THEY FALSELY ADVERTISE!!! I was told that the second set is part of a buy one get one free offer, and you only get to keep it if you purchase the first set. Regardless, it did not do as I thought it would. My advice - Don't waste your money."

Charged $89.95 For A Product I Was Told Was 29.95 |
"I was clearly told that the hair product was $29.95 for one month and one month free. I said I did not want the product if it was anymore than the $29.95. I was charged $89.95 for the product and will have to pay to return the product."

Class Action Lawsuit/filed Complaint W/ftc |
"This is fraudulent national advertising, a practice called bait and switch. The tv ad clearly states that it is $29.95 FREE Trial with 30 day addtional supply..free shipping and handling. I urge everyone who has posted here to do the same thing I have....go online to the FTC and file a complaint then go to the Nevada2FNational Better Business Bureau and file a complaint against both the Beau Cheveau LLC and Nathan Sager, 4910 Longley Ave Reno NV 89502. Then file a complaint with the California BBB because the website states they have a location in Beverly Hills. That is how you truly stop these types of business practices---they are frankly outrageous. The problem is no one files a class action lawsuit against these people. Everyone just shuts up and pays. If you truly want your money back email me and to make them stop it takes a lawsuit."

False Advertising |
"I couldn't wait to try the product when I so the info-commercial. What a rip off! They advertise that a 30 trial is 29.99 plus just for trying the product you get 2 addition months of the product absolutely free. When they rang up my order it came to $180.00. It turns out the 29.99 is just a partial payment. This is a very expensive product that is falsely advertised to get consumers."

Do You 2 Work For Nutra Renew? |
"OK Debra, I am watching the infomercial AS WE SPEAK, and by NO MEANS is the price advertised as 3 payments of anything. It is advertised as 29.95 RISK FREE TRIAL plus a free month. Also, when I first heard of this product about a month ago, I tried to find a website for it, and one did not exist. Thank you all for your reviews, I was thinking about buying this and now never will. My advice.. use John Fredia Frizz Ease, avaliable in any grocery store for any hair type."

Not Worth The Money |
"when i purchased nutra renew i told the representative that i only wanted it if they were going to charge me the 29.99 at first, not the 89.95 they try to talk you into paying all at once. of course they ended up charging me 89.95 so i was kind of upset but figured if it worked like on the infomercial it would definitely be worth it. 28i have extremely thick, curly hair.29 i was very excited to use it when i got it. as soon as it came i opened it 28it was mailed in a bubble mailer and the shampoo had opened and was inside on everything!29 i had to rinse the dvd off and dry it before i watched it! but the dvd did still work and i watched the whole thing to make sure i would do it right. unfortunately it did not work like it said. i even left it in for about 20 to 25 minutes before rinsing it out. i tried drying my hair straighter then using a flat iron on it and it still would not come out good. for about the next week, i did notice that when i dried my hair and let it go curly or just let it air dry my hair would be a little softer than normal, but for that much money plus monthly payments, a little softer than normal just isn't cutting it. so i sent it back and am eagerly awaiting my refund."

Very Disappointed! |
"This product was extremely disappointing to me. I could not wait for it to arrive and used it immediately. It was no better than anything I have previously tried to get my hair straight. I had to use flat iron and other products to get the look they show on TV. I was charged $29 but then invoice came and shows balance due of $59--I'm sending back asap!!!!"

Thanks For All Your Feedback |
"On an impulse I called to place an order 4 days ago. I was greeted by someone who spoke horrible english. As she was trying to sell all these additional upgrades I kept saying no only to aggitate her. Her attitude came on strong and hostile as she kept attempting to poorly read her script. The end result is that she ended up hanging up on me. I called immediately after to confirm whether my order was processed and if so for what since I had given my credit card info. The rep could not confirm whether an order was processed. I finally had time to contact there customer service line today (1-877-236-0964) they confirmed there was no order so I placed one. I decided to check them out online and found this great website. After reading everone's horror stories I called back immediately to cancel. Now I'll just have to be on the look out to make it was cancelled.
This is a great site and I'm thrilled to have found it. Thanks to everyone's feedback it has elimated me from having to go through this ordeal for an inferior product."

Far More Effort Than Seen On Tv! |
"Okay, sure, Nutra Renew will make your hair feel soft. But this is after you wash it, put in the product, wait, rinse, dry, and style. Very different than the scenario shown on the infomercial. If you are like me, you are thinking that this is a product that will temporarily relax your hair, but it certainly does not. I knew 10 minutes into my first shot at it that it wasn't what I expected, since I was watching their styling video and the hairdresser was busily blow drying the model's hair into curls. It is truly a two hour process in order to get...soft hair. It does NOT straighten it, does NOT make it any less frizzy, and it requires you to use your usual styling product and flat iron it as usual if you want it straight. I am going to try spraying plain water on it and "massaging" it in and see if it works just as well! 28 I have the feeling it might29. Don't waste your time or money, you can buy better products for 12F10 the price!"
