Threw It Out Because It Broke Within Months |
"I actually really liked this machine for a while. It did a reasonable job of chopping. I ordered extra bowls which was really convenient for multiple ingredient recipes. The downside was that the top didn't seal, so liquid ingredients would spill over, and it did a terrible job on avocados, but for onions, garlic, the things you chop most often it was pretty good. However, after several months I could no longer remove the blade from the machine to take it apart for cleaning. At this price, it shouldn't break in a few months."

Inferior Product |
"I have used this product for several months and find that it does not live up to its advertisment. I stil have to use my food processor. The product is very limited in what it can chop.It is not designed for large jobs. It satisfactory for very small jobs. The quality in workmanship is poor. As It brakes down every time I use it."

Broken Blade, Broken Promises |
"The blade broke in 3 months chopping an onion. Called for a replacement blade, was promised that it would be sent out. 6 months and many promises later, still no blade. A big rip off"

Great Little Gadget...with Caveats... |
"This is a great product. It performs just as they say. My only gripe is that I would like it to be a little bigger, because chopping some food to fit in it is pointless, because it is a chopper after all. But, there are only a few things. When I am making something, usually the food I have is already pre cut up, and I just throw it in the machine and it performs well. The only thing is Onions, I have to cut them into a few pieces for a few dishes before putting them in the machine. The blender attachement is great too."

If I Had To Do It Over, I Wouldn't! |
"The Ultimate Chopper is a very powerful "little" machine, however that seems to be the problem. It practically purees everything you put in it. I've used it more for chopping up stale bread for feeding the birds. I concur with another review that describes how you have to keep opening it up to move the food around or else some pieces stay on top and never get chopped. So you get kind of a mixture of pureed food on the bottom and big chunks that stay on top and never reach the blade. The blade spins so fast that the food is spun to the sides of the Chopper's bowl and stays stuck there where the blade can't reach it. So, again, you have to stop the Chopper, twist off the lid and scrape the food back down into the bowl close to the blade and start over again. It's funny--you buy this "too" powerful gadget that over chops and they send as a bonus guft a "juicer" that's nothing more than your good, old-fashioned orange squeezer. You know the kind we all grew up with that's cone-shaped and you put the orange on top and press down and turn it back and forth? So far the Chopper is holding up. But like I said, I'm mostly chopping bread--for the birds. Overall, I'd say not a good investment."

I Can Not Live W/o It! |
"Okay, it's small! Okay, the blade broke w2Fin 8 months of purchasing it. The juicer is stupid, the knife is excellent. I contacted the company about the blade blowing up all over the place and they replaced it! FREE. I can not do w2Fo this little darling! I use it every single day of my life. I think they could improve it, by making it a bit larger, and taking the ridges out of the chopping cup, since w2Fthose I do have to fight to get everything out of it. Smooth would be better.0D0AI use it for everything, especially in canning and dehydrating season, from home grown veggies and herbs."

It's Getting Sent Back. |
"I is too small - I had to stop and open it to move the food around so it would be able to chop it. The juicer they included is a piece of junk.0D0AI like the knives, though. I am sending it back!!"

Avoid This Product |
"I like my chopper for some things, but it definitely has it’s limits. I purchased a five year warranty for it and it was needed, as the thing is very fragile. Three of them have broken. My current chopper broke in February and I ordered a replacement. It’s now May and, even after 15 to 20 calls, nothing. Three times I have been told I would be FedExed a new chopper but thus far, I have received nothing. In fact they billed me for shipping, handling and an addition warranty and that problem took 2 months for them to correct. Avoid this product."

This Is Built Cheaply |
"It was fun for 1 or 2 uses, then the blade broke on a handfull of coffee beans. Couldn't handle what a cheap coffee grinder could do."
