What it does, it does very well.

This product is worth the price just for using on all those "dry clean only" garments. Just hang them up after using, plug in the steamer, and in a couple of minutes the garments are wrinkle-free and refreshed. You're good to go again, and can cut your dry cleaning bill in half. It also worked great on my kitchen floor, when nothing other than hand scrubbing did anything in the past.
This Product Does Not Work!
Posted on 04/26/05 by Barbara from Cranford, NJ
I bought the steamer hoping it would clean out mold and mildew from my shower and old oven grime. It did neither. The only thing it cleaned well was my engagement ring, but that alone wasn't worth putting it together and carrying it around. I returned the steamer and would not recommend it.
Good, But Broke Within 2 Months
Posted on 04/06/05 by Jay from Irving, TX
When I first bought this product, I was very pleased with it. It got out stains/soap scum very easily. I used it to clean up where a candle had spilled. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience to one of the posters. Within two months, the spray button just quit working. It still heats up, but the button doesn't release the steam anymore. I'm very disappointed in the construction of the device.
Worked Great ... 'til It Broke...

When we got it, it was fantasic... it steamed fabric beautifully, cleaned the mildew from the fridge door, was amazing on the stove ... BUT ... within 2 months, the steam release button broke and it is now just a sad reminder of cheap construction on an otherwise great idea...
I Like It A Lot

It melted my soap scum, I have never seen my shower that clean before. It cleaned the bugs off the front of my truck. I used it to clean grease off my motorcycle, BBQ, cleaned the break dust off my wheels..... HEy I liked it I wouldn't use it on a sheet rock wall thats jst dumb. I wish it could hold more water though.
It Is Worth It's Weight In Gold.

I don't care if it doesn't work exactly like it does on the infomercial. It's worth it's weight in gold-simply for the fact that it can knock the splatters, dirt, finger prints and dust off of baseboards and door facings in no time flat. If I never find another reason to use it 28and I have29, it has been well worth the money spent. I have removed carpet stains that have been there a year. Do you know those dusty and lint-filled corners around the edge of your bathtub? It cleans those like a charm. I found that it is also useful cleaning those odd parts on the toilet 28and the baseboards behind it29. If you have chair rail - clean. It can also get in under your washing machine lid-where lint, detergent, and dirt like to hang out - you can't get that stuff out with a toothbrush or a washcloth. But, you can use that little tip to get into all of those tight spaces. I just wish I didn't have to stop, unplug it and refill the water so often. Once you start cleaning with it, it is hard to put it down.
Not Like The Commercial

We were very disappointed with the steamer. It did not work as it appears on the infomercial. For example, it hardly removed any grime from our stove top and the deposits in our shower. It doesn't appear to get hot or strong enough.
Does Nothing It Says It Does

Doe not clean grime, mold, mildew, nada - however it does blow dust2Fdirt around well. Very disappointed. A definite return. Too bad cause I was really hoping it did everything it promised.
I Have Found The Scuncii Steamer Unsatisfactory
Posted on 01/05/05 by Marianne low from Slidell, LA
I have found the0D0A steamer useful, but have found it to be seriously lacking in longevity. I have had mine for less than a year, and while it will heat up, the thumb switch will no longer release steam.
Love It, But Not Perfect
Posted on 12/04/04 by Carrie from San Diego, CA
I love how easily and speedily I can de-wrinkle my clothes, and the fact that I can really refreshen everything from my expensive bags to shoes to pillow covers 28for hypo-allergenic reasons29, and even the carpet. But the container is a bit heavy, and sometimes it leaks water when you spray. This is merely an indication that you need to let the water heat a bit more. press in short squirts until you get the steady steam. Steam and even brass brush is not strong enough for certain calcium build-up and other water-related marks. in this case, I wonder if the shark steamer is stronger. But I'm happy with the sanitizing and de-wrinkling uses that I get.
