Worx Gt Trimmer

Now you'll get the same great WORX performance-with 3x the trimming power! It's all thanks to Lithium-Ion battery technology. The new WORX GT WG151 features a compact, quick charging Lithium-Ion battery pack that lasts 3 times longer than typical cordless weed trimmer edger. And unlike other cordless electric weed trimmers that start losing power from the minute you turn them on, The new WORX GT Trimmer/Edger provides 100% power throughout the life of the charge. Better yet, there's absolutely no battery memory, so you can charge your WORX GT Trimmer/Edger at any point during the charge cycle.

Threatening Phone Call Received After Declining.
Posted on 08/23/09 by Davis from Lindale, TX
We called to order the WorkX GT. We changed our minds. Immediately after hanging up, we received a call from 508-230-7300 stating we violated Federal Repeat Harrassing Phone Call Laws, are being "turned-in" and will face prosecution.

 Im Very Happy With Mine!
Posted on 02/04/09 by Dona Greenlee from Parma, Ohio
It works for me, but I have a very small yard. I use it a lot and am glad that I have an extra battery because it does run down fast. I do a lot of edging with it and get great results.

I ordered this product last summer and it is great easy to use and does the job. The only bad thing about it. It don't hold a charge very long. I ordered an extra battery and that took care of that problem.Work Great. thanks Peggy

 Ok For Light Use
Posted on 12/10/08 by Jack from Wiggins,MS
I seen the other reviews. I've had this trimmer for two summers now. YES, it is NOT some gas burning trimmer with tons of power. If I want that, I've got a John Deere trimmer that can whack 4" saplings down in one stroke. I live in a subdivision where I have a VERY small yard. I was tired of lugging my cord around to reach everything and got the Worx. I expected it to be as strong as an electric and it wasn't. However, all I had to do was just slowdown and it trimmed just fine. If you have a big yard (few years ago I was having to deal with 2 acres of front yard in GA...) this thing wouldn't do. I'm satisfied that it does the yard that I have for what I need. If you do get the Worx Trimmer, you MUST purchase 2 batteries. Without fail don't get it with just one. Simply put: If you have a nice yard with nice grass, this will do. If you have a yard with lots of brushes/thisles/crap get something else.

This Product For It's Cost Sucks
Posted on 07/23/08 by Don Zullo from Ladson, SC.
I've owned this trimmer for about one year. The batteries will no longer hold a charge over ten minutes. The spool retaining clip keeps comming off and then the spool spins out leaving a tangled mess you can't use any more. Given the cost of this product I expected much more. I like the fact that it's cordless but I whould not reccomend it.

Junk Not Powerful Enough Not Worth The Money
Posted on 07/08/08 by Greg from Ofallon MO
I seen the infomercial and purchased the Worx GT with additional battery. Using the device one time it was easy for me to determine the unit was not powerful enough and was not worth the dollars involved. I returned the device the following day. Initial cost for device and shipping 156.06, cost to return to vendor 52.61 (shipping & insurance)credit to my account for the return 129.94. Out if pocket expense 78.73. Buyers beware of the infomercial. Lessons learned. Solution I purchased Weed Eater gas model for 69.03 tax included.

Not Worth The Money And Trouble To Return

It was way underpowered for doing the similiest of jobs. Shipping and return charges are very expensive because of its size.

 Not Strong Enough
Posted on 01/20/08 by marilyn johnson from hoquiam, wa
i purchased this product early last summer. i live in washington state (aka. the evergreen state). although i feel the product is good, it is not strong enough to keep my grass at bay. i still use my gas trimmer 5 times more than this electric trimmer. And forget about using the edging feature if you live in Wash. or Oregon.
