This product doesn't work at all. I had a cat who peed on the couch and the smell wasn't even faded with this product. When our dog was a puppy and had accidents on the carpet, this 'urine be gone' didn't work there either. Didn't do any more than soap and water would do.

Only Pee-off and Poop-Off were effective in completely removing all residue and smell, my dog doesn't return to the spot. All others worked partially or not at all. Poop-off also has a black light that helped find urine. Very inexpensive and worked well.

It got rid of the stain, but not the smell. I tried two or three times and when all was said and done, you could still smell urine, deep in the carpet. And of course the light will not pick up smells.

I used Urine Gone because my cat sprayed on the carpet. I used the the whole bottle in two diffent days trying to get rid of the smell. It never went away. It helped the smell very little. We had to get new carpet. I feel it was a waste of my money to buy urine gone.

Urine Gone worked fantastic on my regular carpet, but unfortunately I used on my natural fiber (sisal) rug before reading instructions about using only on surfaces that can be cleaned with water. It was my fault, but just a word to the wise. The light worked great, too. Id definitely recommend this product.

First of all, I was most in need of the blacklight since I had old stains from when we got another cat. As far as the actual product, it has a nice smell, very Spring-like, if it totally masks the smell, well, I suppose it does to a point. All blacklight does is highlight light colored dirt, I tried on all surfaces and you are better off seeing it with your own eyes. Very disappointed in light, mine works not at all!!!!

After trying everything available at pet stores, my vet, old wives' tale tricks, I tried Urinegone. It was my last hope. It worked wonderfully on our rug where our cat occasionally goes. The scent is very mild but strong enough to take the "funky" smell out. The black light doesn't work on carpet, but that's okay. The spray is the priority. I agree with the other reviewers. A gallon-size of the product needs to be offered. I went thru the spray bottle in no time. Bigger bottle, more product. I'm ready to buy!

I have tried many products to eliminate dog urine problems in my house. None have worked as well as Urine Gone. Now I need to be able to buy it by the gal., with a discounted price and without another black light.

Urinegone made matters worse than before I started. It ruined my carpeting and hardwood floors by leaving rings on the floors and it smells like cheap cologne when applied. It defenitely doesn't stop animals from peeing in the home as they claim. My dog smelled it and pee'd right after I sprayed it on the floor. My cat won't use the litterbox since I used urinegone to clean it, and now he sprays in the house. And they have not refunded my money as they claim. They just want me to jump through hoops like an animal to get my money back. They can keep my $20.00 since I will never buy from them again. My vet recomended a product called Urine-Off and this stuff worked great. Now I just buy from my vet when I need Urine-Off. I also hear you can buy Urine-Off from local flooring stores, and it is approved by the CRI (carpet and rug institute) and is Safe on all flooring. If you want to get urinegone, then purchase Urine-Off.com It costs more but its worth it in the long run.
