First Time User....might Be The Last!!!!
Posted on 09/15/05 by Shawn from Ohio
I am very skeptical about "AS seen on T.V." items. I saw the infomercial when it was introduced. I was very interested, although I did not purchase. I saw it in a pharmacy a couple years ago still, $39.99 I resisted the temptation. Well, I finally broke down and bought one. I just got done using it. My hair is just above my shoulders and extremely layered. My hair is smoother and laying better. I was so dissapointed though because much Less than half-way from being done the GENERIC hair plate lock "BROKE" It wouldn't Lock, so I had to use my thumb to release the hair plate each and every time. (not to mention my hand already has permanant injuries) It is made really CHEAP, it seems to worked for my hair though. Concerned that this Split-Ender is going to be more of a hassle than "a Unique and Revolutionary Patented Invention" I will be taking it back, I haven't decided if I will EXCHANGE it, or just RETURN IT and END the Split-Ender Experience!!! If you get one...be sure there is the opportunity to return it, that way you can TRY it and decide!!

 Was Not Worth It

You could easily get better results by just trimming your hair. It sucked compared to all of the claims they made on the infomercial. Well I guess I learned my lesson of buying something before I got the reviews.

IT'S LOUD AND IT DOES NOT WORK. IT MAY CHOP OFF SOME TINY PIECES BUT DOES NOT GET RID OF SPLIT ENDS,LIKE THE ADVERTISMENT STATES. I HAVE CURLY HAIR SO I PULLED IT THROUGHT SLOWLY STILL SAW SPLIT ENDS SO I BLEW IT STRAIGT TO SEE IF I MADE A DIFFERENCE NOT!!! STICK WITH THE SCISSORS AT LEAST YOU KNOW THEY WORK!!!

I Was Not Satisfied With The Split Ender
Posted on 05/27/05 by Marisol from Lawrence, Ma
Upon seeing the infomercial for the split ender, and watching the live step by step procedure on how it removes split ends by simply brushing through the hair, I was convinced that I had to buy it. When I saw it at Walgreens, I didn't hesitate to buy it, as it was only $29.99. When I went home and actually tried the product, I was very dissapointed to find that it didn't work. It didn't cut split ends at all, and was not as easy to use as the infomercial made it seem. I returned it the next day, because it was not worth the $29.99 that I had paid.

 Very Delicate....broke On Me Twice.
Posted on 05/04/05 by Fauzia Asad from Houston, TX
It worked fine on couple of mini hair sections i made. then it kust broke. i went and exchanged it. the second one broke too... i wasnt even using alot of hair.....very weak merchandise.... breaks very easily... and makes your hair uneven. keep your money... dont waste it because 30 dollars is too much for something that will break after first or second stroke.

 Cheaply Made And A Dissapointment
Posted on 02/05/05 by Bonnie R. from Northern Michigan
When I pulled this out of the box, I was already disappointed, it felt so light, that I wondered if it worked at all. I tried it and it was terrible. Since I have very thick hair it took forever to get it sectioned and try to make it work, it wasn't worth the effort. Miniscule amounts of hair came of after much tugging and pulling. UGh. Not recommended at all.

Not The Worst Product I Ever Bought Off Tv
Posted on 01/28/05 by Maggie from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Technically, it DOES work. it snips off the last... I dunno 1/2 centimeter of your hair. The problems? You must seperate your hair into such small sections that it ends up taking a good hour to use it on your whole head (at least if you have long hair like I do). You must run it through your hair VERY slowly for it to anything, and it makes the most annoying sounds. But more importantly than that, if you actually have really damaged hair, this wont help very much because your split ends probably go up higher than this thing trims. I would say you are better off with a pair of scissors.

 Don't With The Split Ender
Posted on 12/23/04 by Lacy from Virginia Beach, VA
Costs WAY too much for what it does not do. It is cheaply constructed, makes a ratchety noise, and barely cuts any hair at all. I was very disapointed I did not get the results that were advertised. I bought mine off ebay so I could not return it. I threw it away!
