Fun But Not Very Useful
Posted on 04/07/05 by Don Basta from Bolingbrook, IL
I got a 2 for 1 deal so I bought it and sent the second to my daughter. When it arrived then I realized it was not for carpets. So I charged it up, put on a cloth and set it to work in my kitchen. I didn't move any furniture so it took the better part of the afternoon to sweep a 12'x15' room with a table and 6 chairs. I turn it on when I go to the grocery and it's usually done when I get back.
Useful As A Joke/novelty/gag Gift...

I purchased one of these critters a few weeks ago on a whim. We have pets and dust, so I thought it would help take care of keeping things spiffy between cleanings. It doesn't...it just goes in s-l-o-w circles and takes forever and a day. It has yet to actually finish any room before the battery goes dead. It gets 'lost' and repeats it's path, not cleaning anything but looking pretty sad. The cat likes it.
I Don't Think So...

My hubby brought this home because I wanted a Roomba vacuum. It was kind of fun to watch it move around the room by itself, but wiping the floor with a cloth just doesn't do much as far as cleaning is concerned. It does pick up some dust, pet hair and crud, but with kids and pets, we have more than some of this stuff, and mostly it just gets pushed around. To make matters worse, we accidentally threw away most of the microfiber cloths that came with the thing when we threw out the box, and just TRY to find a place to buy more of those when they're gone!
I suppose if you keep a very clean house and just want to dust your floor, you would be very happy with it.
Does What It Says On Box

I like mine. It does what it says on box. A sweeper, not a vacumm. Don't compare to Roomba. Spray some floor cleaner on and you have floors that shine. Use NEW improved wipes over old original wipes. They last longer and clean better.
Short Of Expectations

I purchased one a week ago. It runs in circles mostly, cleaning the ground it covers, but doesn't cover much of it. It was in my living room (hardwood floor) for 2 hours and hadn't covered the entire area! You have to change the pads often! It's being returned!
