Great For Red Wine Stains
Posted on 09/26/08 by Kathy from Ashburn, VA
I spilled Red Wine on a beige carpet and went into panic mode. I remembered that the commercial said Oxiclean could remove wine stains so I put it to work. It worked great! All of the red wine stain came out. I was very impressed!
I've used this product for cleaning my keds and stains on clothes. I've always had good results.
Good Product..if Used With Care

Oxi Clean is a staple for use in washing really dirty clothes and with our rug cleaner steam machine. It gets out stains caused by large dogs, that nothing else seems to touch on our rugs. Works well cleaning my wife's filthy horse riding outfits and saddle blankets. A word of caution though: we have ended up with unwanted bleach stains on shirts and towels when we used too much or did not make sure it was diluted first. Never let the dry powder touch the clothes and you shoule be safe.
Great On Organic Stains

I bought this off a shopping channel when it first came out and continued to buy it after that in the stores. I have a dog that threw up on my off-white carpet and this is the only thing that would remove it completely. I have used it on fabrics also but the key is it must be a "natural stain"- it won't work on tar or ink or anything synthetic.
Use Bleach, You Will Get Better Results For Whites

I used Oxy for washing and found that whites were better cleaned with Bleach. I wonder if this is just borax.
Oxi Nightmare - It Seemed Too Good To Be True.

I tried Oxi Clean to remove black pen marks from my white linens. It did not remove the pen marks and in addition it left yellow stains on the spots that I applied it. Now my linens are worse, I wish I never even tried Oxi Clean. I could have lived with the pen marks.
Absolutely Worthless

I tried this product on at least 20 different stains, new and old, and the product did absolutely nothing. I was very disapointed. I followed the instructions exactly and it did nothing...
Saved Me From Getting In A Lot Of Trouble

Over prom weekend my friend slept on the fold out couch and tripped getting into bed and spilled red wine all over the bed..it soaked through even onto the mattress. We panicked and the only thing in the house was Oxi clean so we decided to try it and I could NOT believe how it worked. We took off the sheets and threw them in the sink and dumped the oxi clean mix on top and in like 5 min. it was spotless. Even on the mattress, it completely cleaned it. I also used it on my fave white flip flops, I had to let them soak longer than the sheets though. This stuff is awesome it definitely saved me
Didn't Help My Laundry

My husbands t-shirts get a build up of deodorant and it won't get that out. I tried soaking, scrubbing and the stains are still there. I used it a couple of times in the white loads and didn't see any difference in brightness.
Wonderful Product

Works every time IF you follow direction. Wroks on tea and coffee, grape juice and cranberry sauce.

I didn't buy it from the TV ad. My husband picked it up at Costco. It's neat stuff. I wouldn't exactly say it's the BEST, but I will say it's better than MOST. I do keep purchasing it3A29
